If you have children you may know what this article is going to be about. If you don't have any then I will tell you. This article is about childcare and how it has changed over the years. Many years ago the only kind of childcare was done by the child's mother. She stayed home and raised her own child. The husband was the one that went outside the home to work.

Now the mother is no longer at home to watch over the kids, so now she has to pay someone else to watch over her kids for her. This is called day care or childcare. This can be very expensive if your family has more than one child. Depending on where you live in this country can also make the difference between paying a lot or a little.

Some ladies will charge anywhere between 10 dollars per child and up per day, so if you have three children that have to be taken to this woman every day it can sure add up. This will cost her 30 dollars a day and 180 per week or 720 per month. This is why most women that have more than one child would rather stay home and let the man of the family work.

This is why most women try to find work that they can do at home. Some companies will let their woman employees take their work home, and then they can bring their work back when they get it done. This would be a good idea for most women workers who have kids. It would cut back on them missing work because maybe one of the kids are sick or the woman is sick herself. Some companies have tried to add childcare rooms to their company, but this didn't work as well as they would have liked.

They still ran into the problem of a woman missing work when that child was sick. The company might have paid half the price of this person's day care but the rest of the bill still had to be paid by the employee. The cost of this care still wasn't cheap.

I think that if there is work that can be done at home let this person do the work. In the long run it would be better off for both parties. The company will get their work done, and the mother will be able to stay at home with her kids.
