If you have moisture or a leaky pipe in your house, it can cause lots of water damage to the walls, floor, carpets, and your stuff. Leaks can cause water to run everywhere or it can cause it to spray everywhere, which gets them wet. Water can soak into everything, like wood, drywall, clothes, and beds, and it can make it very hard to get the water out. You will have to vacuum it out, squeeze them, press on them, or anything that you might want to do to get the water out or what even will work for you. It can take hours or a whole day to remove the water out of your home.

If water gets in the wall by a leak in the pipes, it will get all over in the walls causing water to stand on the bottom of the inside of the walls, and you might not see the water in there. You might have to remove the wall to get the standing water out of there and get it dried before it does damage. If you don\'t dry it out, the moisture can still be there, and it will still cause damage and mold. If the moisture cause mold, the mold could eat through the wall and the wall could start to fall apart.

If water gets on the floor from a leak due to a pipe, it can stain it, warp it, cause mold to grow under it and in the cracks, and it can strip the color out of it. It can take days for the wood to the floor to dry and mold can easily find its way on it. Same thing as moisture - you have to find a way to get it dried fast or to make sure that mold will not get on them. You want to get everything off the floor and move everything out of the room so it can get dried and so it will not cause damage to anything else. Have some fans running and the window and doors open so the air can go all over the room.

It can cause your carpet to become soggy, which will later cause it to become stained and musty odors will come from it. It can cause it to shrivel up if you leave it on the floor or if you don\'t get it dried or if you lay down a new carpet. If moisture gets in there, it will cause mold to grow and it will spread because the moisture gets trapped in the fabrics of the carpet locking it in. This can cause health problem for your family, and the problem could be very serious, which can cause illness.
