It is a common mistake to try to resolve a problem by fixing all the little details of the problem thus making it more complicated. Most of the people also fail to realize that the most effective way of solving a problem is by looking at the general picture and with a different point of view, find clues on how things will transpire.

According to studies, working over a mental problem for a long period of time without having a break can make it five times longer before coming up with a solution. However, a person who takes a break can definitely solve the problem quickly because when the mind is in a more relax state the brain will be energized and can think clearly. So if you are facing a difficult problem at work, try taking a short break, get up and walk. You will be amaze on how useful that break is. Getting away from the place that causes your problem can likewise give your mind the opportunity to block away the problem even for just a short time.

If you use a lot of time in problem solving, you are most probably using your logical thinking. This is not the way that one should solve a problem. What one needs are creativity and the use of the subconscious mind. The subconscious part of our brain is more open if we are relaxed and it can easily get block if we focus on using the logical part of our brain. It is normal to get frustrated over an unsolved problem but we should avoid this as much as possible because it will also block our logical thinking. Since both logical and creative thinking are blocked, this situation can be very stressful and depressing as the brain uses more its emotional part.

The most practical and easy approach in solving problems is to relax and get an overview of the problem and your goal. Then you can now use your creativity and the subconscious mind and let it solve the problem for you. Take note that the subconscious mind will do everything that you desire as long as you allow it to work.

Accordingly, you can further enhance your problem solving skills through hypnosis because hypnosis is also a state of relaxation thus allowing your subconscious and creative mind to take over and expose you to its full powers.
